Figs & Almond Porridge for Autumn season

Figs are a natural tonic to restore your energy. Almonds nourish and build your strength.

Ingredients (serves 1 person):

1 cup vegan milk

½ cup of oats

2-3 fresh figs, cut

1/2 tsp of turmeric powder

1 tsp of cardamom powder

1 small handful of almonds

Honey to taste


- Boil the milk and add the oats, half of the figs and the powders

- Stir well and let simmer for 5-10 minutes

- Garnish with almonds, honey and the rest of the figs (figs should be well cooked)
