Abhyanga is a Sanskrit term loosely translated to mean ‘anointing the body with oil’. Abhyanga is normally done with warm oil, starting with the soles of feet and working up to the head. Sneha in Sanskrit means unctousness. Oil is lubricating, smooth, heavy and most of all has a grounding effect on the body and mind. When warm oil is applied on the body, it gives one a luxurious relaxed feeling immediately. It wards off old age, exertion and aggravation of vata, improve vision, nourishment to the body, long life, good sleep, good and strong (healthy) skin. Instructions: Please try to arrive 5 minutes before the Appointment. Do not eat 1 hour before therapy. Please indicate if having allergy to sesame oil or any health details if relevant. Price is 80€.
